Wartime and Post World War II America. Those words conjure up images of a newly repaired economy bursting at the seams, colorful war propaganda, increasing amounts of expendable income competing with the oppression of ration coupons, and most of all of the beautiful women in circle skirts and seamed fully-formed stockings dancing to an upbeat swing number with their uniformed sweethearts. Women who were not afraid to be women, with curves, and curls, and bright lips. The fashion of the era captivates me. The music brings a smile to my face and a sway to my step. I want to turn back the clock and bask in a simpler time, a time that I never lived in! Alas, I cannot. ;) Instead I must settle for emulating the women I so admire in everything from the curls in my hair to the shoes that I wear. This blog will document my journey from modern frump to vintage bombshell, my antics, mishaps, and fun. I doubt that anyone else will enjoy this as mush as I will, but who cares!<3 Little Coquette
