(♥♥♥♥½ out of 5 ♥s)
Spitfire Jo Weldon is a spicy, little, red-headed vixen that embodies a real woman; curvaceous and proud of it! In this little gem she imbues the watcher with a little bit of her confidence while teaching you jaw dropping routines that serve to show you that you can remove any article of clothing with a little burlesque flair. She sheds everything from hoodies, to dresses, to jeans, capping it all of with a magnificent wedding dress striptease. I find that this DVD is definitely worth the money and time, especially if you are taking your burlesque baby steps, like yours truly.
The half heart reduction id due to two things. Firstly, her introduction is long winded so if you are not an information whore like I am, you will not like it and be itching to fast foward through it or skip it all together. She says nothing of actual relevance to the techniques necessary to shed clothing sexily in this section of the DVD so feel free to skip it. Secondly, I find a couple of her routines too stripper-ish for my tastes but it makes sense since she got her beginning as a striptease artist at a strip club. I guess what I am trying to say is that I recommend this DVD for all of those who are new to burlesque or are looking to brush up on the basics.
